Fiber Optic Splice Closure (FOSC) is an essential protective housing used for the continuity, branching, and management of optical cables. As a premier solution from the Ningbo Yuanyi factory, these closures are engineered to provide a rugged, hermetically sealed environment that shields delicate fiber fusion splices from water, dust, and mechanical stress, ensuring long-term signal stability in the most demanding outdoor conditions.
Drawing on years of manufacturing expertise, Ningbo Yuanyi offers two primary configurations to suit various deployment needs:
Dome (Vertical) Type: Featuring a cylindrical shape with all cable ports located at the base. This design is highly preferred for underground, manhole, or pole-mounting applications due to its superior sealing and vertical space efficiency.
Horizontal (In-line) Type: Characterized by a flat, rectangular profile with cable entries at both ends. It is ideal for aerial installations or shallow duct environments, offering easy access for maintenance and expansion.
High-Strength Engineering: Every closure is molded from premium, UV-resistant, and anti-corrosive plastics (such as PP or ABS). This ensures the device can withstand extreme temperatures, high pressure, and physical impact, reflecting Ningbo Yuanyi’s commitment to industrial-grade quality.
Advanced Sealing Systems: Available in both Mechanical Seal and Heat-Shrink Seal versions. The mechanical seal design allows for repeated reopening and re-entry without the need for specialized tools or replacement kits, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
Precision Fiber Management: The interior features multi-layer, flip-style splice trays. These trays ensure a minimum bending radius of 30mm for all stored fibers, preventing macro-bending losses and organizing fibers for easy identification.
Scalable Capacity: Depending on the model, these closures can support fiber counts ranging from 12 to 288+ cores, making them suitable for both local access networks and long-haul backbone lines.
